What is Changed: Almost All Bonus Levels have changed tiles. It is a reboot of Nintendo's Donkey Kong franchise and follows the gorilla Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong as they set out to recover their stolen banana hoard from King K.
This is a Hack of Donkey Kong Country 2, it does not change gameplay, however it changes the tileset (background) of some courses, this hack was made with the idea of a sort of a BETA restoration, based on some early footage from DKC2, it was also made with the Speedrun community in mind, since the hack is based on the Japanese version (Super Donkey Kong 2), and by the fact that the graphical changes might help speedruning in some way, and that would also be something different and interesting to Speedrunners to do, would be amazing if someone accepted to do speedrun with this hack, anyway, please enjoy this hack! :) Donkey Kong Country is a 1994 platform game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
